It’s been about six months since we started using the CAP310 walkie-talkies, and I figured it was time for a real update.
Short version? They’re still the first thing my crew grabs when clocking in.
We’ve got three buildings to manage—maintenance, janitorial, security, all working across different floors and schedules. Before this, we were dealing with dropped signals, dead batteries, or radios that just didn’t hold up. Since switching to the CAP310, things have gotten a lot smoother.
They’re light, easy to wear, and don’t get in the way when climbing ladders or carrying tools. New staff pick them up and figure them out immediately. We’ve had a few drops, a couple of rainy days, and they still work like new. Plus, the battery lasts a full shift without any stress.
I’ve had a few guys bring in other radios from previous jobs. After a week, they switch to the CAP310 without being told. Says enough.
If you’re managing buildings, tenants, or a busy maintenance crew, I’ll just say this: don’t overthink it. These radios get the job done—and keep doing it.
